William Plummer is a Director at Milestone Capital. Based in Shanghai, William is responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution and investor relations. Prior to joining Milestone Capital, William worked in management consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton's Shanghai offices, where he served MNC and domestic clients in a broad range of industries. Prior to Booz Allen, Mr. Plummer worked for Goldman Sachs in its New York and London offices, and for the World Bank/World Bank affiliates in Beijing and Washington D.C.  Mr. Plummer received his BA from Tufts University, and his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and French.

 

Jennifer Yan is a Senior Principal at Steamboat Ventures, a venture fund affiliated with the Walt Disney Company with focus on digital media and consumer technology.  Jennifer currently sits on the board of Shangpin.com and was previously on the board of Youxigu (sold to Tencent). She is also actively involved with Steamboat's investments Beijing NetMovie Co. and UUSee.  Prior to Steamboat, Jennifer worked for 3 years in various roles related to media investing in China. She was a partner at a boutique financial advisory firm assisting early stage companies with fundraising, as well as consulting to U.S. private equity funds and hedge funds on technology and media investments.  Earlier in her career, Jennifer worked in the technology and consumer sectors. Her prior work experience includes Director of Business Development with Motorola in Silicon Valley, and in several retail engagements while at Bain & Company in Boston. A native of Shanghai, Jennifer received a BA in Economics from Wellesley College, an MBA from Harvard Business School and attended executive program focusing on media and culture industry in China, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.


Shirlene Song is a Vice President at the Carlyle Group and focuses on real estate investment opportunities in China.  Prior to joining Carlyle, Shirlene was an Associate at the Principal Transaction Group of Morgan Stanley in New York, where she focused on originating commercial real estate debts.  Prior to that, Shirlene worked as a business analyst at JP Morgan Chase.  While in New York, Shirlene and her friends founded ACCEC, an organization for Chinese students educated in U.S. colleges and young Chinese professionals working on the Wall Street. Shirlene attended Peking University and Cornell University and graduated summa cum laude.  She is a member of HBS class of 2008, Section H.

 

Vvivi (Rongrong) Hu, a native Shanghainese, is an alumni of HBS class 2007.  Before and after HBS, Vvivi was a consultant in McKinsey, Andersen, and Bearingpoint.  She started her own business, www.zwzhome.com, an e-commerce website offering middle to high-end designed home ware and home deco products to Chinese consumers.  Her passion is to impact on the lifestyle of Chinese consumers and bring inspirational products to their everyday life.  Her personal interests and hobbies include interior design, painting, travelling, cuisine and wine.

 

Swee Ting Pan is currently a Director based in JAFCO Shanghai office, responsible for investments activities in Southern and Eastern China.  At JAFCO, Swee Ting is focusing on mobile, internet and medical services sectors and currently serving on the boards of a number of investee companies.  Before HBS, Swee Ting has over seven years of operating and consulting experiences from SINA USA, Yahoo! Inc and Sapient Corporation, including direct P&L responsibility for a core business unit of SINA US operation.  Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and educated in the U.S., Swee Ting received her her Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
